Project 2

Module 2

This is my initial process work. I chose places that is meaningful to me, like my home Scarborough, downtown Toronto, Oakville, as well as downtown Oakville. The colour scheme also reflects the places I chose using things that represent the area.

Activity 1

Another photo of Downtown Oakville. The lake in Downtown Oakville. Oakville Harbour on mapbox. Coyote sighting in Oakville. My friends in downtown Oakville under the lighthouse. I used a Canadian flag because we're in Canada. I colour picked from a photo of Oakville. Another photo of Oakville with typography, and a darker colour theme. A photo of Bridlewood Mall in Scarborough which is near my home. A photo of downtown Toronto at night time. Downtown Toronto on mapbox with its colour scheme. Downtown Toronto with a lighter scheme. Larger map of scarborough in mapbox inspired by the TTC colours. The TTC signage. Logo of downtown Oakville. Oakville with the Oakville logo colour pallete. I chose yellow for the lake because Ontario is rich with water. I chose yellow for the land because Oakville is also known for its beautiful greenery. Oakville logo. #DowntownOakville.

Activity 2

Black and white version on mapbox. Spacial projection tutorial. Masking of the wall. Masking both walls. The shatter effect. Shatter effect on the wall. Drizzle effect on wall. Particle playground effect on wall. House break ins in Oakville during the last few months. Base/land of my laser cutting. Road outline. Refined version in Illustrator. Land outlined in red. Refined version of the land outline. Image traced the road outline. Making the lines thicker for laser cutting. Full screenshot of the refined road lines. Imported buildings. Image traced buildings, and fit to the map. I decided to zoom in more on the land, because I want to add more layers, especially a seperate layer for the buildings. Refined the road lines again to fit the new layout. Fit the road to the land. The Women in Business and Technology logo that I designed for the club. Turned it black and white for laser cutting. Added my name, and laser cut the final illustration.

Spatial Workshop 1

This is a space found in the trail behind Sheridan College, where people hangout, or shoot scenes. The structure is mostly made of wood, stones, different fabrics, and stuffing. This is the cafetaria found in B wing, where students can sit down and order food. The chairs and tables seem to be made of wood and metal. The noticable long windows are made of glass, and certain glass panels that are coloured. This is the tutoring center found in C wing, where students can come for extra educational learning assistance. The materials used in this space is probably drywall, concrete, wood, and metal.

Spatial Workshop 2

A general bee market with different stalls and sitting areas. A music festival where there's MakeyMakey's hooked up to each flower, and it makes different sounds when the bees touch them. A big bee market with lots of different stalls, and performance areas.
